Cobblestone: Jamaican-themed River Street Dining

The Cobblestone Conch House, a venture by the same folks who bring us Tubby's Tankhouse, et al, stormed ashore at the former W.G. Shuckers, gutted the building and put back an elegant, Jamaican-themed restaurant that is outfitted with both style and an expertly executed menu.

"Artful Hospitality, Intimate Lodging"
Bus Ad Begins

With the flair of a genteel southern social invitation, the Association of Historic Inns of Savannah launches its first advertising – a reminder to indulge in the authentic Savannah style of the historic mansions and small boutique hotels. Encompassing artist Mitchell Smith’s recent Forsyth Park fountain painting entitled “Showtime in Forsyth,” the Historic Inns association drives home their message, literally, via Chatham Area Transit bus #3031 on its Barnard Street downtown route. The moving billboard is targeted to reach tourists and professionals in the business district with an enticing message -- "Artful hospitality. Intimate lodging. Indulge."
