New COVID-19 Procedures and Policies
We would like to share our plans for keeping guests and staff safe as we begin welcoming guests back. When you book your reservation, you'll first experience a new contact-free check-in procedure that will get you settled in quickly without unnecessary contact. Once you arrive, you'll find many of us wearing masks and gloves, hand sanitizer available in common areas, and we'll be enthusiastically practicing social distancing. We've gone digital with in-room and about-the-property information you might need while here, so you can access that and more with your own phone. Be assured, our staff is up to speed on ways to be safe, while still helping you enjoy your visit to Savannah.
Cleanliness & Disinfecting Practices at the Inns:
Over the past few weeks, a light crew of housekeeping and maintenance personnel have been on-property. While practicing social distancing and wearing proper protective gear when needed, our staff employed an aggressive cleaning and disinfecting protocol. Our goal was, and still is, to achieve and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, disinfection and hygiene possible for our guests' return.
Our Team & Their Families Are Doing Just Fine
Many of our guests have kindly asked about our staff on social media. During this difficult time, not one of our team members has been furloughed or laid off. Each has continued to received a paycheck and health care benefits. Fortunately, every one of our team has remained healthy during this pandemic, and we are thankful for that. Because all of our amazing employees have remained on-the-payroll, they all stand at-the-ready to come back to work as soon as possible. So you can expect the same extraordinary hospitality, kindness, and warm welcome you've always received at the Historic Inns of Savannah properties. Our six inns each ranks among the top 10 highest rated hotels in Savannah on TripAdvisor, and you can count on exceptional service from us when travel resumes.
Cancellation Policy Change:
For new or existing direct bookings with arrivals after May 1, 2020, each of our six properties will accommodate non-cancellable rate reservation changes if the request is received at least 7 days prior to arrival. The original deposit will not be refunded but will apply as a credit to the altered travel dates. Rates are subject to change if you alter your reservation, depending on dates and room type selected. Gift certificates may also be issued instead rescheduling to future stay dates.
Additionally, due to the current situation, the inns are implementing new processes to protect the safety of our guests and team members. This may result in a change in certain services and amenities that are available.
